According to Google, 97 percent of consumers search online for local businesses. Help customers find you by claiming your free Google listing which will identify your business, products and services.
Your free Google business listing can display photos and videos, announce special offers and allow you a way to respond to online reviews. It even incorporates free analytics to help you gain insight into how your business is performing.
Interested? Here are the simple steps to activate your free business listing:
- Go to google.com
- Search the term “google places”
- Click on Google Places for business
- Sign into your Google account (or click to create a new account)
- Next, search for your business (Google will ask for your business phone number to locate it—you will need to provide this)
- Click on “Find business information”
- Fill in the requested information. Add photos if you want to!
- Confirm your listing online, by phone or postcard.
It’s that simple. Now you have access to analytics, which will help you understand customers in greater detail.
