Public Safety—Police Department
The Noble Police Department has set forth an aggressive agenda for decreasing the crime and accident rate for Noble’s residents, guests and businesses. We strive to provide the highest degree of professional police service possible. Our activities and achievements wouldn’t be possible without the department’s hard working, dedicated men and women along with community volunteers who assist in making the entire community a better place to live and work.
Police officers are required to be certified by C.L.E.E.T. (Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training). After certification, officers must maintain a yearly minimum requirement of continuing education to maintain their certification. Our philosophy is the more training and education officers receive, combined with having the right tools to perform their job, results in more knowledgeable and better-performing officers. We are continually working to build a stronger foundation for a community that we can all be proud to be a part of, now and in the future.
The department comprises the Communications and Animal Control Divisions. Emergency dispatchers multitask by coordinating incoming radio traffic, Emergengy 9-1-1 and direct dialed calls related to both emergency and non-emergency requests. Dispatch personnel also serve as records clerks responsible for distribution of accident and police reports. The Animal Control Division is in charge of maintaining the animal shelter and responding to all animal related calls within the city.
